NONFAT DRY MILK

Nonfat Dry Milk powder is a derivative of cow’s milk that, through industrial processes, obtains the powdered product and defats it. It belongs to the dairy group, the most prevalent nutrient is lactose, a carbohydrate. However, it also has a good amount of protein, which is why it is considered a source of it. In addition, it contains vitamins and minerals.

 

It has practically no fat and, being a food of animal origin, it is rich in proteins of high biological value, essential for the body, because it cannot produce them.

STORAGE AND HANDLING

Milk Powder is hygroscopic and can absorb odors, therefore adequate protec􀆟on is necessary. It is recommended that product is stored at 80°F or less, with rela􀆟ve humidity of 65% or less, and in an odor free environment.

PACKING

Product is packaged in poly lined mul􀆟wall 25kg (net weight) kra􀅌 paper bags without the use of staples or metal fasteners.
